Hinged floor plates can come undone in the middle of a hunt.

Fixed box is rather fool proof but slow to unload.

It really depends on personal pref and what style suits your taste midwayusa makes an extended hinged floor plate to add rounds and give you the mag look but badger ordnance has a trigger guard mag replacement kit that gives you a true mag function i hope this helps in some way i was using a remi model 700 as a reference on this question not sure if they have the same thing for other.
And it is easier than a blind mag to dump the cartridges when the time comes.

I like the security of loading the internal magazine and the ability to empty it with opening of the trap door.
